Mahidol University Collaboration
Exploring research and technology development with Mahidol University.
A shared conversation about advanced materials, knowledge transfer and future collaboration between academia and industry.
The Visit
Connecting material development with academic expertise.
On 7 July 2026, Insulating Asia representatives Aleksander Moczek, Paul Treadaway and Kewala Boonyajin visited the Department of Chemical Engineering, Faculty of Engineering, Mahidol University.
The visit was hosted by Prof. Dr. Chularat Sakdaronnarong, Head of the Department, together with members of Mahidol's academic team. The discussion explored potential cooperation in advanced materials research, technology development, research commercialisation and wider academic-industry initiatives.
It was an opportunity to exchange knowledge, better understand available expertise and consider how future work could connect research capability with practical industrial needs and sustainable development.
Areas Discussed
Potential pathways for future collaboration.
The conversation considered several ways academic knowledge and industrial development could work together.
Advanced Materials
Exploring research relevant to next-generation material development and characterisation.
Technology Development
Considering how research ideas may progress towards practical and scalable processes.
Research Commercialisation
Discussing pathways that may help promising research address real industrial needs.
Knowledge Transfer
Building connections between academic expertise, laboratory insight and manufacturing development.
Sustainable Development
