How we use cookies
Insulating Asia currently uses cookies and similar technologies to:
- operate essential website functions and maintain security;
- create and validate a secure session for website forms; and
- display Google Maps only after a visitor actively chooses to load a map.
We do not currently use advertising, behavioural-marketing or website-analytics cookies.
Types of cookies
Third-party cookies and embedded content
The website obtains fonts, icons and scripts from Google Fonts, cdnjs and unpkg. Those requests may disclose technical information such as your IP address, browser details and request time to the relevant provider, even where they do not set a cookie.
The locations page offers Google Maps as optional embedded content. The map is not requested from Google until you select “Load map”. If you load it, Google’s own privacy and cookie practices apply. Following an external social-media or mapping link also takes you to a service governed by that provider’s policies.
Managing cookie preferences
You can use the website without loading an interactive Google map. Selecting “Load map” applies only to that map for the current page view; the website does not store that choice.
Browser settings
Visitors can also delete or block cookies using their browser settings. Blocking strictly necessary cookies may affect website functions.
Updates to this policy
This policy may be updated when website services, cookies, legal requirements or consent-management tools change. The date shown at the top should be updated whenever material changes are made.
